Passed your Level 4 Kayak Proficiency Assessment? Comfortably paddling Grade 4 Whitewater? Ready for the next step? By enrolling on a Level 5 Proficiency Training Course, you will learn the skills and techniques to assist you in running grade 4 and 5 whitewater both confidently and safely. Your personal paddling technique will be analysed to iron out any bad habits you may have developed and your rescue technique will be honed so that if the shit does hit the fan, you will be more than capable to enact a swift, effective solution. Course Duration: 2 Days Course Date : 12th/13th December Max Number Course Participants: 8 Number of Instructors: 2 Course fee includes 2 full days of instruction, log-book and €20 cash back (in I-CANOE vouchers). Participants must be: ICU registered members, provide all their own personal paddling and rescue equipment & have their own transport to get to/from training course.
